Can Mirror Universes Exist?

Recently, we discussed a fresh paper that proposes our universe was not the only one that popped into reality after the big bang, but that a ‘mirror universe’ did as well. This universe can be supposed of as the bizarre to our Kal-el: it’s a place where everything—the micro world and all, even the shaft of time—is reverse of ours. Obviously, the notion wasn’t created for the cool factor. Rather, they consider this “event” would bring precision to numerous key problems that remain with the big bang model, comprising definite conflicts of established laws of physics (like the original state of entropy, and the second law of thermodynamics, to name a few). In the video below, Fraser Cain from UniverseToday tests this hypothesis, and how such a mirror universe may work.
