Just a couple of weeks ago, NASA and ESA issued the biggest and highest resolution image of Andromeda Galaxy ever taken. The 1.5 billion pixel image was captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. Every single tiny dot of light in the picture symbolizes one of 1 trillion stars in the galaxy; several with their own extensive planetary systems. As you watch this video and envision Andromeda’s mind-boggling magnitude, remember that this is just nearly a drop of water in a full bucket as compared to the rest of the cosmos. As big as this galaxy is, it is only a single one out of 200 billion galaxies in the cosmos.
